How and when to pay for my sessions or classes?

đź•’ WHEN TO PAY:

Payment is due immediately after booking to confirm your session.

Unpaid sessions will be automatically canceled by our booking system.

If you plan to pay with cash, it must be dropped off the same day you book — not on the day of your appointment.

What ages do you start training?

We start training kids at age 6 and up.

We’ve found that children under 6 often have a hard time focusing for a full 1-hour session. For that reason, we don’t offer sessions for kids under 6.

If your child is under 10, we do offer a split session option — two kids can share a 1-hour youth session, each getting 30 minutes of focused time. You can find this option under our Youth Sessions section when booking.

Why does your gym focus on one-on-one sessions instead of classes like most boxing gyms?

At STL Boxing Academy, one-on-one training is our most powerful service and our resume proves it works. We've developed champions and helped everyday people level up fast, not by chance, but by focusing on what actually moves the needle: personalized coaching.

Everyone has a different style, strengths, and unique challenges. In a class, you’re following a general program. But in a one-on-one session, it’s all about YOU. Every minute is tailored to improve your footwork, timing, defense, and power exactly where you need it most.

Even one private session can dramatically shift your game, giving you targeted drills to work on in your own time until we meet again. Our coaches identify what others miss and help you unlock your full potential faster. Championship-level coaching built for you.

Whats your Cancellation & Reschedule Policy?

You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.

Anything under 24 hours will result in the loss of your session and payment.

Reschedules must be added at the time of the cancellation — no exceptions.

No refunds are given for any missed or canceled sessions.

Late Policy:

Please arrive early to stretch and warm up.

If you arrive 15 minutes late or more, your session will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

What comes with an in person gym membership? (16yrs+ or older clients)

Our gym membership gives you 24/7 access to the facility, which makes us the only boxing gym in the area where you can train anytime that fits your schedule. With your $75 membership, you’ll get:

🥊 Structured fight camp programs to build stamina and skills

🔥 Drill guides so you always have something purposeful to work on

🏋️‍♂️ Unlimited access to the ring, cardio, weights, and recovery equipment (including our infrared sauna)

đź’Ą Discounted classes and free in-house sparring sessions

It’s perfect if you want to train independently, but still want real structure and purpose behind your training.

Gym memberships do not include one on one sessions. Those must be purchased separately.

Can my youth under 16 get a gym membership?

Yes! Youth ages 10–15 can get a gym membership for $60/month, but MUST BE accompanied by an adult at all times while in the gym.

They are allowed only during business hours:

Monday–Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM

Saturday: 8 AM – 3 PM

Sunday: 8 AM – 12 PM

Do you train real fighters?

Yes! We train every level of fighter. From beginners to world-class athletes, we work with all types of combat sports, focusing on striking, footwork, placement, and pure boxing.

We’ve trained 5 national champions, a Pan American champ, and a Team USA world champion. Our team also works with many professionals, including a top 10 welterweight in the world.

Our coaching experience spans every level — from local Golden Gloves to televised Pay-Per-View main events and ESPN cards.

Can I train just for fitness or self-defense, without planning to fight?

Absolutely. Whether you're training for fun, fitness, or self-defense, you're welcome here. With consistency and dedication, we’ll have you looking and moving like our professionals.

Our community is made up of both athletes and non-athletes who support and push each other — and they always show up to cheer on our fighters when it’s time to compete.

What are the prices for one on one sessions, classes, ect?

One-on-one sessions and class rates vary based on the client's experience level, whether they hold an in-person gym membership, and the type of class. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, please visit our booking page.

Do you offer free trials?

We don't offer traditional free trials, but we do provide free gym access during business hours every last Friday and Saturday of the month, as well as every holiday. These are the perfect times to experience our fight camp stamina programs, use our boxing and recovery tools, and feel the overall gym energy - PLUS you'll get a chance to meet our coaches and fighters.

You're also welcomed to stop by during business hours for a tour of the gym. Please note, coaches may be busy with one-on-one sessions, so it's not always possible to chat in-depth.

What is Redzone? Are there different ones?

Red Zone is HIIT on steroids—fast-paced, 30-second stations designed to crush calories, build stamina, and push your limits. Whether you’re a beginner aiming to get in shape and lose weight fast, or a fighter chasing unlimited gas tank energy, Red Zone is your playground.

Choose your Red Zone:

💥 Regular Red Zone – Total body, full-intensity, burn everything!

🥊 Footwork Red Zone – Focused on footwork, speed, sitting in you base and explosive movement.

👊 Punch Volume Red Zone – Max out your punching power and endurance.

Redzones can be booked as one on one sessions, booked with a friend (or your child), or you can book the class and get motivated by those around you!
